Havent sleept in hours, fled from the house and into the streets, bodies covered in mud and other questionable substances, girating to sweet soca music. You'd think i'm talking about j'ouvert morning in t&t but no. THis was the after math of hurricane emily. i was amazed to see the level at which these peopple lime and fete, when on the news whey show citezens of a commuinity in trinidad who were flooded out when a river overflowed is bank. Wining and limin in the muddy nasty water like is nuthin. everyting in this country is an excuse to kick back and party. I'm still amazed that they get anything done here.
